    Our Mountain Trail Camper Trailer

Like the title says we have a Mountain Trail Camper trailer. This is our second camper trailer. I picked this one as a bare bones second hand camper from Sydney on January 28th 2010. I towed it close to 900km the first day I owned it back to Victoria so it was a good test although it was sealed all the way!

Since owning it we slept in the camper over 160 nights and towed it to every state of Australia covering around 40k in the process. We sure have made some great memories camping in this camper.

Towing it home from Sydney the weather was in the high 30's the entire way home.

One of the first mods I did was change the hitch from a ball to a trigg hitch.

Then a water tank and tap was added

    An extra Jerry can holder

    Stone deflector

Replaced the saggy and tired leaf packs with some greasable units.

    Living the dream mate.

How do you find the draw bar goes over big wash outs? Do you get hung up much?

No mate never had an issue with getting hung up. There were a few tracks in the Brindabellas' in the ACT that it scrapped a little over the erosion mounds.

Yeah mate very wet, Not the first time or the last . I tell you what it was interesting backing the camper out of that mud pit, It was even more interesting getting back out the Great Northern Hwy once we got out of the campsite, it was another 200m in the mud to the blacktop. Except we were in the last convoy of vehicles they let through before the highway was closed for 24hrs. There were roadworks there so even the highway was under water! It's amazing how heavy the canvas gets when its so wet.

Good pics Rich but you have some resizing to do mate, there's some huge image sizes there.
