Porcupine Gorge or Pyramid Rock are about 60km north of Hughenden. Both nice spots to camp.

Lark Quarry Dinosaur Trackway is defiantly worth a visit.

Hope to get back up that way myself soon, enjoy the trip!

Thanks for the info on the camping spots, will check them out. Larks Quarry is our main objective for the trip as well as the museums in Richmond and Hughenden. Should be interesting. Cheers.

Well mother nature had her own plans so our trip became something else. Returned today from 3700kms over 12 days: Bris - Charleville - Kilcowera Stn - Hungerford - White Cliffs - Broken Hill - Tibooburra - Thargomindah - Goondiwindi - Bris. Some great times, always great people, pics to follow tomorrow. It's dry out there with no relief in sight for the SW Corner, people doing it tough and they need the tourist dollar.
