    Feb Fast

    Yeap, it's that time of the year. For me, i'm doing it unofficially. Here are my goals:

    No Alcohol
    No Chocolate
    No Ice Cream
    No Chips
    No Soft Drink.

    Only 27.5 days to go

    Anyone else doing this?
    The only thing better than fishing... is catching a fish...

    My doctor has suggested I do something similar to Feb Fast for ever.
    My wheels of choice 150 GX Prado towing a Jayco 12.37 Outback Expanda

    Hahah! That's a good idea for all of us. That would be a real challenge though.

    Harps I will take your comment as an ideal opportunity to share with and encourage others. It might take the topic in a different direction but it's a good opportunity to share.
    My story;

    At age 54 I'm fit n healthy but carrying a few extra Kgs, nothing excessive though, (86kgs/ 170 cm tall). On the advice of my GP,
    I've just had a full checkup including blood tests , ultra scans of prostrate and kidney etc.
    Its been a bit of a wake up that without change I could head down the path of type2 diabetes and other issues that come with carrying a bit of weigh and enjoying all those things you are giving up as part of Feb Fast.
    I need to lose around 10-12kg. A plan has been worked out on attacking this goal.
    I'm also booked in for a top n tail camera inspection to check that the food in food out operating system is still in good service. and functioning.

    I would encourage everyone to have a conversation with your GP especially if you are carrying a few extra kg/s and approaching your middle aged.

    Well,

    I don,t do chocolate, ice cream and rearly soft drinks. So there is three out of the way.

    As for the others.

    Today i have an old mates birthday to celebrate and everything is supplied, could go into the early hours of the morning. Also i am catching up with another old mate coming over from NZ in a couple of weeks. There will be a few of us camped out sitting around a camp fire, need i say anymore. Plus it is my sisters birthday this month.

    Hence i am a scratching

    I'm running approx 3kg over the limit, have had a camera in the air intake and up the exhaust, blood tests etc.....all good..!

    Why ?......well I'm 59 and the family genes are not all that rosy...heart attacks, diabetes and cancer. Check your parents and grandparents history......genes can be a major factor in your health !!
