    Hi from Mark & Lisa

We just purchased a Landcruiser Prado 80 series and at this stage it is running standard tyres, soon to be replaced. We are going up to Newnes State Forest this weekend for a bit of a run.

I (Mark) am from NZ and been in Aus for 7 years, was in the Canterbury Landrover Owners Club and did a lot of 4WD trips for many years. Haven't done any 4Wd'ng in Aus yet so looking forward to getting out. We don't have a 4WD camper trailer yet so will be in Swag, we both enjoy hiking and have done several multi day hikes back in NZ over last few years but knees giving out with age so back to 4WD

    Welcome and enjoy.

I am sure the PRADO will serve you well. I have a kiwi friend coming back over in a couple of weeks and yes we will be doing a camp, he is looking forward to camping with his aussie mates again. Also an open campfire

Welcome Lisa and Mark. Plenty of good 4wd tracks in Australia.

What is 4wding like in NZ? Only seen a few vids of comp trucks!

Do you have an 80 series or a Prado?
