    Trout for dinner

The good lady asked me the other day, "Are you any good at fishing?"

I was quite surprised and responded, "Yes, I am. Why?"

She then replied, "Well you go fishing alot and don't bring back fish".

That is a good point. I tried to explain the catch and release philosophy. Well, today I decided to bring my catch home.

Well done young fella !! What did you get 'em on lure ,fly or dynamite ?? I haven't been up the hill for a look yet, the rain should help us out getting the creeks going again.

Nice, so a bit of spinning.

I thought they used corn at the trout farms

I know of a little spot just out of DAYLESFORD. Drive into the bush and come to a mud brick hut and an open paddock. Browns but you have to work for them in this creek a lot of walking and stalking(Waders) good camp area also. Used to net my mudeyes on the way in
