Well I've been on a couple of shopping trips and added a few items to the pad

    The Generator

The Weber Baby Q 1000 Titanium

    And the all important bedding

    And some party lights

Put together with a table, two new camp chairs, some cleaning implements and a rubbish bin and I'm nearly set to test it out.

Where that will be I'm not sure but plans are developing for a couple of short trips mid next month and of course the fishing trip to Serpentine.

    Bring it on!!!

Nice one Max a little mod I saw done on the webbers is to drill four holes one in each of the corners where the plates sit and secure with bolts otherwise they are known to bounce around and break the plates

I wasn't going to go that far... but was going to say having two beds is a likely invite for the old fella. Actually, we might even be able to get him up to Serp...

    Hi Greg,

Yeah the setup is going along quite well and by using it need or not needs will be sorted out.

Went for a Prospecting/Camping trip last weekend, couple of mini specks found but nothing to brag about.

    Here's some Pics ->

Arrived, set up and were then greeted by a heavy downpour hail and all

Damn looks like Flickr have taken on Photobuckets lead and limited number of pics for free $$$$$
They have changed the system and I can't find the right URL to post up pics so this one is and experiment.

Bugger, back to the drawing board it is

Mmmm appears that for it to work the BB Code has to be found in the share window on the site

Now that I've sorted out Flickr time for a few more pikkies of the inaugral trip.

    A creepy colourful little critter

Visited the CFA Memorial at Linton where 5 Geelong West Firefighters perished in 1998. A solemn experience especially as it was Rememberance Day and at the time I was part of the management team at the CFA HQ in Ballarat.

A great little free camping area just out of Linton on the way to Cape Clear, nice and clean with picnic tables, fishing and very nice scenery.
