Ada Tree, Visit the Yarra Valley

Last Sunday afternoon we took a drive into the Yarra State Forest. We took the 3.5km return walk to the magnificent Ada Tree. The walk leads through what can best described as a mystic rainforest with moss covered rocks and trees with the walking track that undulates along the side of a crystal clear creek.

The Ada Tree dates back over 300 years old and stands at an impressive 75m High. The circumference of the trees trunk measures 15m round at chest height. There is a elevated walkway leads around the base of the tree offering plenty of photographic opportunities.

The carpark at the trail head offers sheltered picnic tables drop toilets and an information board.
