    Australia Day Long weekend 2018

Whats everyone up to for Australia day?

who is getting away camping and wheeling for the long weekend?

So far I have not made any plans myself though I hope to get away for at least one swag night that will depend on how things are traveling at home with my partner 35weeks pregnant and the forecast high temps though I'm sure the kids would like to spend a night out the river and I'm always down for a spot of fishing.
Fishing for a good time starts with dropping in a line

No plans mate. Predicted temps put me off and always worried about bush fire risk under those conditions.

Actually thought about digging a big hole with OBJs permission but the HILTON will be like an oven.

Getting of the subject. Mid Feburary, a weekend at Mt Dissapointment a friends birthday. Late Feb may take the missus and do a camp at BARMAH. I can drop a line, she can kick back and read a book and partake of a vino Plus i may sneak in a day trip inbetween locally for a guy at work his father has passed on his GQ to him, so test him out on a few tracks.

    Anyhow HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY.

PS-Lunching(Pub) with an aunt who just got out of hospital and other family members at CASTLEMAINE/CAMPBELL'S CREEK. May order the lamb

We did get an invite to join some friends down at Eagle Point but with the predicted weather I'll be staying within jumping distance of my pool.

We're taking the swag and heading up to do a trip from Omeo, around Dartmouth, across to GlenDart then up to Corryong before heading to Surveyors creek then up to Mt Pinnibar, Pheasants Creek then Glen Wills, Mitta and home again.

Hey mate, that sounds like a great way to spend the long weekend. Vhc is awesome.

I've hurt my back, so just resting. Boring me.

    Enjoy all!
