Hello, great to find an active forum.

Hi, I've been a user of many 4wd forums and noticed a serious decline in activity of several over the last few years. Looks like this one is very active. Hope I can become part of the regular crew.

    Welcome aboard.

I must admit that activity on this forum is not as much as it used to be either, but with every new member there is another person to add content, ask questions and tell stories to keep the forum healthy and alive. so once again welcome and I look forward to hearing more from you.

    Cheers Andrew
Why would I buy something for $10 when I can make it for $20

G'day mate, welcome to the forum.

Forums have taken a massive hit by other types of social media, and this one is no different.

What sort of 4by do you own, and what's your preferred camping style?

Hi, yes FB seems to be killing a lot of forums which is a shame. I find FB is great for quick responses to things but generally people don't share stories or experiences on FB groups just their own main pages which limits access to this information. I also find trying to search FB a nightmare for getting specific information on a product. I guess this is why in a lot of FB groups you tend to see the same questions asked a lot.

Currently I have a 76 Series LC, We basically have two camping setups. Option one is an Oztent RV3 with side walls etc. Option 2 is a dual Southern Cross Canvas Swag, depending on weather/location and mood we decide which setup to run.

I know this is a 4wd forum but if there is a Monaro with a 327 in it somewhere I think we need to see some pictures, I am pretty sure there is a rule about that, or at least there should be

No sadly, It's just a handle I've used a long time. Was a favorite car once.
