We took the turn off towards Cresent Head. another one of those places I had wanted to visit for sometime. So like the rest of our trip we headed off the hwy. Point Plomer was chosen to throw the swags out for a couple of nights.

Pretty basic. The solar Panel worked overtime keep the fridge cold.
After chatting to another camper he said we had missed the big crush. No room to move or even park. He mentioned people would have almost been under our awning even though the sites are big it sounded like we timed it well.

The walk around to the headland was well worth it. The beach was clean and we found yet another top spot to camp!

    Day11 (I think lol)

On the road by 7am. It was going to be hot so an early start was a good idea! We headed back into Kempsey and filled up with fuel before heading down the Pacific Hwy.

I forgot to add we went into Nambucca Heads on our way south.

We stopped at Newcastle again on our way south for lunch at Bar Beach.

We headed around the outskirts of Sydeny and decided to stop up at Moss Vale for the night. The weather was hot and overnight temps weren't to bad under the shade of the elm tress. Whenever we head up the Hume we head into the Southern Highlands.

    Day 12
We sat there looking at maps. Wondering weather we should head into Wee Jasper of over towards "The Gong" and drive over the Sea Cliff bridge.

Well we went across then down into "The Gong" it was pouring with rain...so we kept heading towards the bridge. We arrived under clouds but no rain. We quick walk onto the ridge for some pics and the skies opened up big time!

Another destination ticked off the list. We then climbed our way back up towards the Picton Rd and the Hume Hwy. The skies cleared and the temps rose as we rolled into Golbourn for supplies.

    From pouring rain to 35c...

We set up again at Jugiong then headed over to the pool for a swim before dinner.

    Day 13
This wasn't our last night but its the last of the pics for the trip.

We left Jugiong early in the morning and headed to Jamieson for one last night before heading for home. We were only home for 5 days before we were off again!

Two weeks with just swags, everyone had a ball!

Thanks for checking out this basic trip report.

    Cheers

There are spots there Gary that look right over the beach. You can drive up the beach to get there from the south depending on tides. But from what I have read the sand can be very soft. I did see one patrol roll into camp and he was almost on his rims, maybe 8-10psi.

    Cheers

    Fantastic trip report Rich

EVERYWHERE I GO I BRING HAPPINESS, SOMETIMES ITS WHEN I ARRIVE, BUT ITS USUALLY WHEN I LEAVE
