My GUIV by Touring Rich. New clutch time.

Here is a run down of our daily driver and choice of touring machine, A Nissan GUIV Patrol.

We purchased the Patrol back in June 07 and this is when the touring mods began to take place. It came with a Bullbar and cargo barrier and that was about it.

    A few days old.

It didn't take long to get it dirty!

The new car smell is a distant memory

    Snow time

It wasn't long before the "Touring Additions" began to take place. There is limited room in the GU dash area for a UHF and with the GME3440 just released this was the pefect option for that factory look.

The mic was mounted to a blank in the dash and the unit was hidden out of eye sight.

I matched the unit with a GME Ariel.

Next was the Piranha Battery tray for the auxiliary battery

The battery isolator is a Projector 150amp which I had in my last 4WD

The rear was set up with a fridge socket for the Engle and a few extra outlets.

Up next was a snorkel, I went with a factory Nissan set up

    It's handy when doing this!

Next was to replace the OE suspension.

    2" lift

Then came the Tradesman Oval roofrack and Kaymar hi-lift, shovel holder

Great write up Rich. There's just something special when there's snow in the photos. Out of the showroom and into the dust and mud, that's the way.

Hope the engine bay is still that clean.

Finally a decent set of boots.

Warn Winch fitted at a mates 4Wdrive workshop

Poly airs to assist with the towing duties

ARB Awning, this has been a great addition

Lightforce lights replaced the IPF's that I bought with the Patrol.

A black widow fold down door table is great for those roadside stops.

    Kaymar work light

Rear shelf unit with Engel fridge slide takes it's place in the back.

And finally is the ARB rear awning off the roofrack.

    Thanks for looking!

    Cheers
