I've got the Powerful 4x4 rear bar, side steps and brush bars on my Patrol, might not be the strongest or best looking items on the market but they certainly do their job well. I do find the checker plate tops on the steps can be a little slippery when wet. Luckily I haven't gone sliding into too many things to really test the steps out but the rear bar has had a few pretty good hits in the time I've had it fitted, no problems with it though, just a few rub marks on the powder coat.

I love seeing your wiring jobs Steve, they are like works of art every time! Much neater and tidier than the messy spaghetti I've seen in other blokes fourbies over the years (including my own)

Thanks for the kind words Mick. I love doing electrical work and trying to make it look factory or better. The brush rail saga continues as they tell me today they can put a new set on back order as they canít understand how the ones I have wonít fit. I explained the brackets canít line up at all, so Iíll wait and see I guess

Today I managed another small (or not so small) job on the 200. I decided to fit a folding antenna bracket on the bullbat for when I run the BIG antenna in the outback but need to lower it for some reason. So I went with another Rhino bracket. So I pulled apart half the interior as usual and pulled the coax back out (no pix you've seen the inside enough lol) so I then mounted the bracket and made adjustments to hold the antenna straight. Theres more movement in the bracket then I'd like but with the wing nut tightened right up it should be ok. anyway heres the pix and a link to the video.

Today I had a bit of time so it was time to move the redraw charger from the back of the engine bay to a better vented and cooler location at the front. A bit of a pain in the bum but got there in the end. (After about 4 hours) I was amazed that the charger (which was fitted bu QLD Police fleet maintenance section was NOT fused at all! ***? Anyway its fused now and all in place and working only a couple of pix and a video clip.

Tools needed 10 and 12mm spanners

Good idea those folding brackets. I had the RFI version and also found that there was way too much movement for my liking with the tallest Terlin. So it went on eBay. The bracket, not the antenna.

Yeah I guess you have a choice practicality or no movement? I'll see if it bugs me. Thanks for your comment Shane

    One word, well two...

    Simply sensational

Very well set out mods and execution.
Must be a few hours in the driveway setting up the rig for sure.

2.8's Sound great, but a worked 3.0L goes better
