    Pacs - Toyota Hilux SR5

Hey guys as some know I recently purchased a Hilux SR5 to take the place of my old GQ patrol due to mechanical issues and fuel consumption I had been searching for another ride for some time
the deciding factor in my purchase was a newer car with better fuel figures so I can get away on more trips and something that the whole family would be comfortable in and the better half would not curse every time she had to get behind the wheel

So when I spotted a Hilux with a few country km's on it and noticed it was a recent release MY12 I started making some calls first to the dealer and what do you know turned out to be an aunts brothers business car so spoke with him and found they had not had any trouble with the car and great service history and everything done so off I went to the dealer for a test drive which was great could not believe how nice it was and it felt really tight and solid so after trying to screw the dealer in any way I could to get a better deal within reason I purchased our new ride

    Test drive day

    boundry bend just after pickup

One of the first mods I had added prior to delivery was the snorkel as I really liked the new denso snorkels though they are a little pricey but churned it into the deal and the labour charge was good so done now time to plan the next

    Pacs - Toyota Hilux SR5

Got some new boots on the lux today finally chose the toyo opat 2 or open country two all terrains they should serve me well for what I use the car for

I was impressed by the reviews I was reading online and the space between the lugs for an all terrain so we'll see how they travel next job will be suspension which I'll have to research

You'll have to get rid of those tinny sidesteps.
