About Gary
I've been camping, one way or another since I was in school, and just can't get enough of it, and I've been luck that my family has enjoyed it as well and accompanied me on many great holidays around Australia. We've got many great memories of our family trips, and hope to make many more.

I didn't have a lot of experiences with four wheel driving growing up, but once I bought my first one I realised what I had been missing out on.

You could say that modifying my four wheel drives is a hobby or passion for me, as I'm always tinkering with them, or adding new bits and pieces. This passion started about 25 years ago, when I bought my first four wheel drive, a 60 Series Cruiser. This Cruiser took me to many special places, including four trips to Cape York and a quick lap of Australia. I then moved up to a GU Patrol wagon, which took my family and I up to the Cape and numerous trips to the Victorian High Country, and turned into a very capable vehicle by the time it was complete. It was a very sad day, when it was sold and I had to watch it drive out the gate in someone else's hands.

"Bundy" is the name of my latest four wheel drive, which is a 2013 JK Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, and which I'm slowly setting up for touring and off-roading. I've already spent way too much on the modifications, but it's like my other four wheel drives, I just can't stop, and I love doing the research on each modification and new parts, just as much as I like doing the mod itself.

I normally tow a camper trailer away to make camping a bit easier and more comfortable for all the family, however we have a range of swags to choose from as well, depending on who's going and where we're going.

I love nothing better than getting away camping with my family, and if it takes locking the hubs in to get to that special camping spot, even better.

I was very new to setting up and running forums when we kicked this one off, and will admit that everything I do isn't perfect, but am willing to learn by my mistakes, and take advice from others more knowledgeable.
